I love their passion for both personal and political issues. My three favorite bands are Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine and Less Than Jake. RATM focuses entirely on political areas and Less Than Jake is mostly personal. Rise Against is the perfect blend of the two. They can write beautiful songs about oppression and surviving a broken system but at the same time they write equally beautiful songs about personal loss, love and pain. They are perfection
